Hello Rony, Ubuntu 24.04 is built on two machines actually, the physical machine running Jenkins (the Controller) but also on a virtual machine. The physical machine passed all tests where the virtual machine had one error. I do not think there is something wrong with the build, we have glitches on the VMs sometimes. I am not sure which one of them reached the Repository, they appear identical.
I did not realize this until now, in the past the Controller was on Ubuntu 18 and then on 20, only with my upgrade to 24 did we get two of the same, it was unintentional. I am not happy at all with the changes in Ubuntu 24 so I have planned to reinstall completely Ubuntu 22. I upgraded from 20 to 22 and that went well, the move from 22 to 24 was a mess, I can not work from remote and the upgrade of Jenkins is broken and also I get loads of error messages during "apt update” that I need to forcibly bypass. The Ubuntu 16 is Eric’s private virtual machine and Ubuntu16 is quite old, I think you should pick the Ubuntu 24.04.
