Ubuntu 22. I upgraded from 20 to 22 and that went well, the move from 22 to 24 was a mess, I can
not work from remote and the upgrade of Jenkins is broken and also I get loads of error messages
during "apt update” that I need to forcibly bypass.
The Ubuntu 16 is Eric’s private virtual machine and Ubuntu16 is quite old, I think you should pick
the Ubuntu 24.04.
