There is a large number of platforms where there is a segmentation fault in the
Alarm Testgroup. Here one example:

This seems to me to be a serious problem, probably introduced with r13407?

The committer (Rony?) should revise this commit (the builds work but clearly
have side-effects) and make the amendments necessary.
Needless to say ANY committer should peek into Jenkins and take care that all
platforms perform as expected after a commit.
