I've changed the Makefile to check for Gtk version 4.12 or higher. Also made the shared library available for some recent

versions of Ubuntu and Mint for the persons not wanting to compile. They can try if the library works for them by renaming

the file from "librexx_gtk4.so_ubuntu"  to "librexx_gtk4.so".

Ruurd

Forget the Alternatively... of course you still have to compile the thing, stupid remark of me!

the CSS support requires gtk 4.12 as minimum, your previous post said gtk 4.8.3. I will update the makefile text to reflect that.

Alternatively  if that minimum version is a problem I think that commenting all ooRexx code statements containing CSS

in the function name  and commenting   all markup methods may work as well, but then you miss the styling possibilities.

I'll look and see what I can find, perhaps I uploaded the wrong version.

For those of you interested (in yet another windowing interface for oorexx) you can download a zip file containing the result of 2 days working with the free version of claude, including some 3 hour intermezzos for over-consumption and about 10 iterations:
