Just use the name of the file as a command. The command shell will sort
out which application handles the type. Thus issuing
'data.txt'
will open an editor (perhaps), while issuing
'report.html'
will invoke the browser. Since these are commands just like any other
commands, it can be created from any expression...it doesn't have to be
just a literal string.
