And this won’t work either ADDRESS UNIX ‘PATH=$PATH:newdir’  because again this 
only has effect for the duration of the ADDRESS command.  Although to be 
honest, you might be able to get around that one by using ADDRESS UNIX ‘export 
PATH=$PATH:newdir'
