Apologies for what might well be an ill informed reply but how does the regular AGPGART fit in here? It already is a well established method of mapping physically discontiguous pages into a, from an AGP card's perspective, contiguous set of pages.
Now ofcourse, that's just AGP, but still. I assume PCIe has something similar?
