Oh yuck. I didn't notice that before.. I just knew I hadn't seen any
graphics stuff with the name.

Damn. Hmm. Well, it needn't be the name for the project, just a card. I
personally would like it if a search for "stormfront" on Google never
came up with the above website because of the thousands of hits on the
name for graphics related stuff.

It's a pity, it would have been a nice name. I'm trying to think of
other English synonyms that would still be easy to remember for English
second language speakers.

Another word for "harbinger" would be "herald", but that's pretty
boring.

A "stormfront" is an indication of change, like an "augury" or
"foreshadowing", or an "omen", but those are a bit blah too. A very fast
stormfront would be a shockwave, but that is SO taken. Something
foreshadowing the passage of something large would be a "bow wave", but
I'm not sure non-english speakers would think of a bow as the front of a
boat.

Umm. A front is a point of interface, perhaps a tipping point, or point
of contact. What about "Keystone"? It's the central element supporting a
whole.

Another word that doesn't seem to be taken and that is indicative of
sudden change is "FlashPoint".

Um. Enough brainstorming; back to work. :-)

Cheers,
Ray
