I'll concede that Aurora has some advantages.  The problem is that it
just doesn't sound very exciting.

Remember how everybody always used to say that Westley Crusher (and in
very much the same way, Wil Wheaton) was, well, "gay"?  Not that he
was homosexual (about which I would feel nothing negative), but that
many people saw him as annoyingly effeminate and wimpy.

Well, in my mind, the name "Aurora" and Westley Crusher's behavior
seem to fit into the same box.  :)

Not that there is necessarily anything WRONG with that.  :)
