hello, I am very interested in this project, as I am in the process of learning verilog / FPGA based design (I also happen to be a professional game programmer, so I know 3D graphics pretty well).
Is there any timeframe/price on when I will be able to buy (or build) the FPGA based development board (I'd be willing to build my own if there are schematics/pcb layout files) ? I currently have a dragon board (spartanII/pci/usb) and am starting to find it limiting, though it could be useful as an ~$200 PCI analyzer during development. see http://www.fpga4fun.com/board_dragon.html on a side note, has anyone else tried using a toaster oven for SMT reflow soldering ? I was not having good luck with that technique (I stunk up the house ;< ). I'm stuck with hand soldering SMT tqfp FPGA packages (400K gates or less) until I can figure out how to solder BGA's. here is a link describing the process if anyone is interested: http://www.seattlerobotics.org/encoder/200006/oven_art.htm I am willing to help with drivers or verilog/vhdl on this project. thanks, michael t. mayers http://www.tweakoz.com/portfolio/ _______________________________________________ Open-graphics mailing list [email protected] http://lists.duskglow.com/mailman/listinfo/open-graphics List service provided by Duskglow Consulting, LLC (www.duskglow.com)
