Having a small "this page/site is valid html and passed so-and-so
validation test" logo down in the corner could deflect complaints
from users with broken browsers.

As if there were any non-broken browsers.  :-(

It also says that the OGP cares about quality and following standards.

So I'd lean towards including it.

Perhaps the main page could have a link to a "about this web site" page,
with info on how to contact the webmeister, a site map, search engine,
a list of browsers the site has been tested with, etc.
Put the logo on that page.
