That's true. If you really paid nearly $300 for that logo
it's a rip off. It reminds me of the graphs we did with
mathematica in highschool (actually there was one plot
that looked really like the logo).

Well, I feel an attachment to it, since I designed it and wrote the code.  :)

Are you saying you don't like it?  :)

And Howards points are valid. You cannot easily scale this
logo without makeing it unrecognizable.

So, one idea was to reduce the number of striped.  Perhaps after
playing a bit with the widths and spacings, we might make something
reasonable  Perhaps not.
