The kernel driver, the fbconsole driver, and the dri driver should all be GPL (in hopes of being made part of the mainline kernel tree someday), but that doesn't stop the code from being dual licensed, which is what some people do when they want their code to be kept in both Linux and NetBSD. -- Joshua D.
