Good, another use for an rs-232 port.

This also ties in with the Video Audio X11 server idea.
(Too bad "VAX" has already been used in a computing context.)
X terminals usually have a rs-232 port, and have a VT100
emulator.  The one I'm typing at now lists

        terminal emulator
        printer server
        serial daemon
        console

as uses.  I have found the terminal emulator and printer server
functions to be extremely useful.
