My friends in Image Processing do a lot of things with 3D image reconstruction using multiple cameras. Does anyone have software that does something similar for photos of the same object from different angles?
I could easily enough code something up to distort the image to flatten it out. I'd want to take depth into account to reverse the foreshortening, etc. And from that, I could at least average out over multiple images. But there's got to be more we can do, no?
