Nice. Now that you mention it I think I'd heard of it before, as well. I 
wonder what happens if you don't have DirectX installed though. Then 
again, I guess everyone who's using IE 5 or 6 probably has DX. This 
could be an option. On the other hand, the GIF works and is now 
patent-free, and it's simpler.
