In every ATX system is an 5VSB line (SB = stand by) which is always on.
Usually used for wake on LAN, but its also used to keep the content of
memories in a ramdisk device ( google Gigabyte iRAM -
http://techreport.com/reviews/2006q1/gigabyte-iram/index.x?pg=1 ).
