Then I don't really see the problem. When the test machine locks up, you download the trace to the workstation via the serial port (it's still in memory, and you control the snooper card via the serial line, which isn't locked up) and _after_ that reset the test machine. That deletes the trace from the snooper card's memory, but that's okay since it has already been copied to the development workstation for analysis. Lourens
