I'm probably somewhat familiar to others on the list by now, but an
introduction would help. I'm a student at the University of Waterloo
in a program that's only peripherally related to electronics (see
http://www.systems.uwaterloo.ca/ ). Because of time constraints, I
haven't successfully contributed much to the public yet (with any
other projects) , but I'd like to help out OGP, to gain experience and
help further the project (graphics support is an itch of mine as
well).

It's really easy to help out with non-technical stuff on an ad-hoc
basis, but I'm capable of producing code, and I'd prefer to get
involved with that than just help with the wiki, etc. However, I'm
quite busy with school, so I need help figuring out what needs doing
so that I don't waste too much time, and can get something useful done
in the limited time I have. I'd appreciate it if someone who is more
in the loop than I am could give me something to work on, so that I
stop thinking about helping out and just get something done. I have a
tiny bit of experience with another HDL (PLDasm, I don't know if
anyone's heard of it), but, having looked at it, I think I can bring
myself up to speed with Verilog on my own. I also have a bit of
background knowledge about the graphics pipeline, but it's all pretty
vague because of lack of actual coding experience, so I'm not sure how
much the knowledge helps. Hopefully there's still something suitable
for me to help with, so please, someone help me get started.

Thanks,
Simon Ruggier
