I think there is a need in the market for a retailer that specializes
in selling hardware that is fully supported by Free/Open Source
software. Some of the products would include:
Desktop:
Motherboard: GIGABYTE M57SLI-S4 (supported by LinuxBIOS)

Graphics card: OpenGraphics

Wireless Internet: RaLink (GPL'ed drivers, no binary firmware)

Media Center:
Same as the above desktop, except add a pcHDTV 5500 card for viewing
and recording digital (ATSC) and analog (NTSC) TV programs with
MythTV.

Mac-Mini alternative:
Motherboard: Epia-MII or Epia-ML Mini-ITX (both supported by
LinuxBIOS)

http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/mainboards/motherboards.jsp?motherboard_id=301
Graphics card: OpenGraphics
Wireless Internet: RaLink (GPL'ed drivers, no binary firmware)
Servers:
Motherboard: MSI K9ND Master Series (supported by LinuxBIOS)
http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=proddesc&prod_no=1034&maincat_no=133
Graphics card: OpenGraphics
Wireless Internet: RaLink (GPL'ed drivers, no binary firmware)
Portable media player: Neuros (although it needs closed-source
drivers)
Laptops:
System76 has a good selection, but they don't care about open-source
drivers, as evident from the fact that they sells laptops with NVIDIA
graphics and Intel 3945ABG wireless cards that require a userspace
binary blob.
One thing I'm not sure about is webcams - which manufacturer is the
most FOSS-friendly?
