Maybe the first mainboard with FLOSS BIOS, but not the first mainboard
with FLOSS firmware.

If you only care about principle, there is the so-called "pc532" board.
The "pc" refers to the mechanical form factor. CPU is ns32532. Schematics
and Gerber files are available, as is the source code for the firmware.
Runs NetBSD, Minix, perhaps other OSes. An expansion card was designed
which included another CPU as an IOP, some form of multiprocessing was
a possibility.
Downside is that it is old, so it is very slow by today's standards.
