"why" - You should use FOSS instead of OSS for free and/or open source software. A lot of people make a strong point to differentiate it. - You don't mention Intel driver ? maybe you should say that intel did not sell graphic card.
"What" - "The attempt to create a fully free graphics card for use in desktop and embedded systems" -> "The attempt to create a FOSS friendly graphics card for use in desktop and embedded systems" The card it self will not be free in the first step. Heyo, I reworked the LinuxTag posters Luc made quite a while back: http://attila.kinali.ch/ogp/ poster 1 and 1_v2 is a simple move of "what" and "why" as suggested by a friend of mine. Dunno which one i will use yet. Please review them and let me know if you think something should be changed. These should be go to print tomorrow or on Tuesday.
