As you have probably seen from the "Sample VGA code..." thread, it seems
we don't need a multiplier at all in the nanocontroller.  Understanding
multipliers may become more relevant in preparing the graphics pipeline
for ASIC.

Oops, didn't notice that. Could have saved me some sleep over the past week! I'll look for something else to work on then. For the ASIC, seems unlikely to me that we will have to resort to using sequential multipliers, unless we are really die size constrained.
