[ Why limit the market by typecasting OGD1 as only for prototyping?
It could be useful for any application that could benefit from
custom logic but doesn't have the volume required to justify
creating a custom chip. ]

We know it is possible, and we proved it by demoing the OGD1 board as
a graphic card at the 2007 OSCON.  But this was using software that we
are not at liberty to distribute.  [ I am assuming. ]  We are working
on creating Free software for this, but it isn't quite finished.

The OGD1 card is xxx mm (yyy inches) long by aaa mm (bbb inches) high.
Some small form factor systems do not provide enough room in one or both
dimensions.
