I beg to differ here. If someone isnt experienced in soldering
he shouldn't need an additional connector anyways as he will
not use any self build add on cards. And also we are not
talking about SMD connectors but trough hole. These are
really easy to solder, and you dont need any special
equipment beside some ESD protection.

And for those who think they will do a simple print with
some stuff on it, normal header pins will be the better
choice than an IDC connector with staggered pins.
