I followed your instructions and things seemed to have switched OK. I
did an "svn up" and a few files were changed (the ones that I expected).
"svn st" and "svn diff" work as they used to (the same files are
changed in the same way).

PS.
I was in the directory called main, that has a subdirectory called trunk
that contains everything useful. Before the switch I did a "cat
.svn/entries". This file clearly had the suug URL in it twice. I then
pasted in the switch command, which said nothing. I could then cat the
same file again and see that the URLs had both changed to the new one.
