We're able to watch a PC console boot up on OGD1. I'm going to try to
get my card programmed here tomorrow and then take a video probably on
the weekend or next week.

Minor problems left to correct:
- Cosmetic -- need to clear the pixel framebuffer where text isn't drawn
- Use DDC and center 640x400 text display on physical screen
- Possibly a hold-time bug in the PCI controller

Stuff for the next major release:
- VGA 640x480x16 graphics mode (and 320x240x256, etc.)
- VESA graphics modes

Congratulations! Does it feel like you've built your own computer?

Very silly question - how difficult would it be to write a program to read the OGD1's framebuffer and convert it to a graphics file giving an accurate depiction of what is shown on the screen? Or is that something that already exists as a program that depends on the drivers for the card?

Arthur.
