The X11 driver that Paul Brook needs to be adapted to a new memory
map. We may also need help from someone who can write a kernel
driver. Switching in and out of VGA mode on OGD1 isn't entirely
trivial.

OGD1 can drive two Apple Cinema displays at 2560x1...@60 each.
Basically, anything with a pixel clock of 330MHz. Analog is also
limited to 330MHz (by the DACs themselves).

The company I worked for, Siemens, has moved all development out of Lake Mary to Boca Raton so at the moment I have some time that I could spend working on OGD. Please point me in the right direction with what needs to be done and in what order and the relevant documentation. What is the initial target: i386 or x64? I assume that we need to support both, correct? I'll start working off-line but at some point I would need ssh access to the development box. Can you set up a web cam so that I could see the console over the internet?

BTW, I am looking for a software engineering job in the Orlando Florida area. My experience covers a broad range: real-time, simulation, telecomm, and more. Programming languages that I am proficient with are: C, C++, ADA, perl, python, and numerous assemblers. My resume is located at: http://abcc.linuxceptional.com.

Kind regards,

Tony Becker
