I agree. Even with only open software in a system there are plenty of microcontrollers in black boxes such as hard drives, CD-ROM-drives, even power supplies, with "firmware" which noone knows about. > We're a long way off from that, but we can get there if we keep > chipping away at the problem, piece at a time.
