The Broadcom "Crystal HD" video decoding chip family
might be a way for the OGC card to provide video decoding
for a generation or two until we get our own video decoder
designed.

Decodes mpeg2, H.264, etc. 1080p
TDP of ~2 watts
Drivers for OS-X, Linux and virus-server. So drivers for BSD should
be available soon. Firmware is appariently binary-only, grumble.
