It was 2 tool not 150 ;) Sorry it was late when I answered you so I made my message rather terse.
If someone want to help I'm sure having to install SVN isn't that great a requirement. Installing latex, I agree that the documentation should be made available using the web without needing the tool for everyone. As I remember we keep only the latex version in svn for easy version and not having a binary blob in the SVN. I think the documentation for some stuff is generated from the latex file in SVN and available on transversal tech download page( http://www.traversaltech.com/download.phtml).
