Once upon a time the svn was available over http. I'll try to contact the
person to see if it can be done again. And to see if the commit mailing list
can be sent the commit message as it should. It was 2 tool not 150 ;) Sorry
it was late when I answered you so I made my message rather terse.

If someone want to help I'm sure having to install SVN isn't that great a
requirement. Installing latex, I agree that the documentation should be made
available using the web without needing the tool for everyone. As I remember
we keep only the latex version in svn for easy version and not having a
binary blob in the SVN.

I think the documentation for some stuff is generated from the latex file in
SVN and available on transversal tech download page(
http://www.traversaltech.com/download.phtml). There would be a need to add
the link for HQ if this is the case.
