Hi. Thanks for the pointers. I got this working and it seems to have removed the corruption I was seeing on the screen.
The only slight problem is that the clock into the S3 is now also at the wrong frequency, so all my code needs ot have slightly different values for the dividers. I think what I'll try (when I get time) is adding another PLL to the XP10 (there are 2 free) and converting the 156.25 to 125.0. I can then use the 125 in the same way as everyone else uses the raw input, and I can feed the 125 back out to the S3.
