I compiled the tools now.

I had to compile them on a Debian 6 system, the autotools on my Debian 5 lab
machine give lots of errors.

I needed at least the following packages from the repository:
sudo apt-get install libatomic-ops-dev verilog libpci3

Then I tried to compile the directories in this order (don't do this, there
is a better way):
sudo apt-get install libatomic-ops-dev verilog libpci3

http://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Hans_Boehm/gc/gc_source/gc-7.2alpha6.tar.gz
wget http://www.eideticdew.org/download/culibs-0.25.tar.bz2

# copy the autotools.sh file to the following directories and run as
necessary
# if you are on debian 5 and get an automake gives an error with LIBTOOL
install
# wget http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/libtool/libtool-2.4.tar.gz
oga1lib
# change line in Makefile to link to oga1hq: OGA1LIB_LIBS = -L/usr/local/lib
-loga1 -loga1hq

Then I realized it is better to just run
martin@hop:~/Downloads/ogp/trunk/tools/build-script$ ./build.sh

The results are in /opt/ogp and can be used on Debian 5 (I had to copy the
libpci.so.3.1.. from Debian 6 as well)

This is the output of oga1-vid-test. Apparently the ForthDD display reports
to be 1280x1024.
Even though the hardware is WXGA 1280x768.
