I started the "Exception running autogen.sh" thread earlier, but discovered the
problems are starting earlier on, when I first try to start Evergreen. Below
is what it says. Advice please? I'm not sure why the inability to open the
log file, but what I'm more concerned about are the Jabber errors "no one to
send my message too!!!" Any idea what might need to be fixed and how? I
followed the instructions on the wiki for installing on Ubuntu 7.04 very
closely, changing only to accommodate for the changes between 1.2.0 rc 1 and
earlier versions. I also had to choose between the default configuration
options vs those suggested in the instructions a couple of times. I took
detailed notes of everything I did during install if that would help someone
help me diagnose the problem. I can also use those notes to help update
instructions on the wiki to work with 1.2.0 rc1, once I finally get this thing
running.

Thanks,
Karen
