Hah! Today we stopped and restarted everything and now my changes to the Org Units shows up in the Holding Maintenance screen. We think after changing the org units with the cgi scripts, running autogen.sh was not sufficient. WE think we needed to also stop and start Apache (httpd on Red Hat Linux box). Then the org unit changes show up.
Unfortunately I still get an error when I try to create and item. Phooey. I call it up and go to add holdings. The holdings show the default set of Org units, not the ones I edited via cgi (Dale has run the autogen.sh more than once but the new OUs don't show). It let me add a volume, and stored the call no. in asset.call_number. But when I try to add the item with the barcode and try to create the item, I get the following error message and it does not save the info. Any idea what's wrong? Frances Network or server failure.
