I contributed a Nagios plugin for OpenSRF that may be of use as well.

It can be found in the examples/nagios folder in OpenSRF. On the web that folder can be looked at here:

Hi George,

We use Icinga (https://www.icinga.org/), which is a fork of Nagios, so all the nagios plugins work with it. I would say Nagios would be your best bet since we know it works and there are indeed some ESI-contributed plugins available to ease administration. We've also learned that writing custom plugins is also very doable once you're acquainted with the environment.

Hope that's helpful,

Chris

Subject: [OPEN-ILS-DEV] Server Monitoring

Hello all,

Is it correct to assume that Nagios remains the most frequently used
server monitoring plug-in, or is there any move in the works with
some sites to use something new / other alternatives.

IIRC ESI's nagios plug-in remains the best option, correct?

George
