We’ve seen this colon dropping in SC LENDS, too, but not in every case. We have a help desk ticket open for it. As Elaine says, it’s not mission critical, but if there’s anything we can do to help troubleshoot, please let me know.

Evergreen often drops the correct punctuation in the 245 field. It also inserts a colon within the title if the filing indicator is incorrect. But this is a different issue. I've noticed that 245 punctuation is not often retained but have not had the time to troubleshoot to see if there is a common denominator since, as Cynthia says, this is not mission critical. Cynthia, Could you double check your indicators for the 245 field? There's a convoluted reason this happens involving how we use the MODS format for display, and I think the problem should be going away at some point in 1.6 with the new bib template infrastructure. But in the meantime, tweaking your indicators should help in some cases. -- Jason Etheridge | VP, Tactical Development | Equinox Software, Inc. / The Evergreen Experts | phone: 1-877-OPEN-ILS (673-6457) | email: [email protected] | web: http://www.esilibrary.com
