George, I believe that this is done through the triggered events code. We are using it on our system in Indiana to do the long overdue to lost and billing notices along with a few other things. It is there and it is not so very painful. Email me directly if you want to talk about it. [email protected]

If it is extremely traumatic, we can talk about it off-list. It is called: Auto-marking items as lost after specific overdue period. What are the characteristics of this feature or where can I find this information? This is a standard ILS feature. How does it function in Evergreen? Does it follow the following design: http://www.prlib.org/Blog/OverdueToLost.JPG Does it have alternative ways of handling the Lost item charge? Has the feature been deployed by any consortiums? Problems? Issues? Thanks for any info George Tuttle Computer Services Librarian Piedmont Regional Library System 770-867-2762 x103 770-891-0654 (cell) 770-867-7483 (fax) [email protected]
