There is! One of the branches in PINES has been using it for about a year, and several others are currently considering switching to it. I believe they are setting it up in kiosk mode on a desktop (with keyboard, mouse, barcode scanner, receipt printer) on or near the circ desk so that it can be easily monitored if patrons need assistance. If you are using security strips or locking cases, you'd also need to add unlocking pads/tools to the workstation.
There are only a few settings to get it up and running - the only ones I recall off the top of my head are a setting to enable it, and a setting to determine whether you want to require a password or not. Once you enable it, you get to it through the browser at: https://yourdomain/eg/circ/selfcheck/main You'll log in first as a staff account to set the workstation (similar to the staff client) so then the URL you'd use for that machine's home page will be something like: https://yourdomain/eg/circ/selfcheck/main?ws=WORKSTATIONNAME It's pretty simple - patrons can't do anything except check out books on it. They can view/print their holds, items out, and bills, but they can't take any actions on them. There had been a few printing bugs, but I believe they are all fixed (as of 2.8 or 2.9?) There is a login bug that has a fix posted ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1528647) that still needs to be tested before being considered for incorporation into master.
