Hi Tina, We do the following:
* Use SQL queries to generate a list of headings in the catalog * Use a script to pull all those headings from LOC into one huge MARC file * Upload that MARC file into Evergreen Here's the script we use; improvements are very welcome: https://github.com/sandbergja/dlc_authority_fetcher And this blog post includes the SQL queries that we use to generate those heading lists in the first place: http://sandbergja.github.io/systems/2017/07/19/authority-control-in-eg It's not a perfect process, but it is free (our favorite price). :-) -Jane On Thu, Nov 2, 2017 at 8:50 AM, Tina Ji <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello everyone, > > > We've been exploring authority control and planning to apply it.
