I would like to find out if anyone has encountered this.

Symptom/Problem - after installing open iscsi in Ubuntu 8, attempt to
connect/start the iscsi-target:

iscsiadm -m discovery -t sendtargets -p 192.168.100.1
192.168.100.1:3260,1 iqn.
2008-04.com.iscsihost:storage.ubuntu8_x64_test

It seemed like the discovery process worked, but when I check /var/log/
messages for a block device or fdisk -l the block device does not
exist.

So I re-ran the above command with debugging turned on and notice the
following error:

iscsiadm: Looking for config file /etc/iscsi/send_targets/
192.168.100.1,3260

iscsiadm: updating defaults from '/etc/iscsi/iscsid.conf'

I'm not sure how to proceed from here; any help would be greatly
appreciated.
