There is a regression in open-iscsi-2.0-869 where the session is dropped even though the it is fine. You will see messages like:
connection1:0: ping timeout of 5 secs expired, last rx 4626267449, last ping 4626264949, now 4626269949 connection1:0: detected conn error (1011) in the log during periods of no IO activity. It is caused when using node.conn[0].timeo.noop_out_interval and node.conn[0].timeo.noop_out_timeout greater than zero (the default is 5 for both so if you use the default values you are at risk).
