I try to install open-iscsi on a debian squeeze and on the other side, I installed targetiscsi on another debian squeeze. When I start the open-iscsi service, the connexion to the target is done with successful authenfication $> sudo invoke-rc.d open-iscsi restart Starting iSCDisconnecting iSCSI targets:Logging out of session [sid: 1, target: iqn.2011-02.XX-XX-XX-XX.rev.dedibox.fr:cdn, portal: 10.8.0.1,3260] Logout of [sid: 1, target: iqn.2011-02.XX-XX-XX-XX.rev.dedibox.fr:cdn, portal: 10.8.0.1,3260]: successful SI initiator service: iscsid. Setting up iSCSI targets: Logging in to [iface: default, target: iqn.2011-02.XX-XX-XX- XXX.rev.dedibox.fr:cdn, portal: 10.8.0.1,3260] Login to [iface: default, target: iqn.2011-02.XX-XX-XX- XX.rev.dedibox.fr:cdn, portal: 10.8.0.1,3260]: successful . Mounting network filesystems:. $> After that, I expected a new device on /dev/ but it's not the case. $> ls /dev/disk/by-path/ip* ls: cannot access /dev/disk/by-path/ip*: No such file or directory No log tell me that something wrong happend.
