Ubuntu 12.04.4 is still affected by the bug presented here : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/open-iscsi/+bug/850960 which prevents iscsid service to start if iscsistart is launched in initramfs.
I have fixed my problem by installing open-iscsi from sources. Also Ubuntu 14.04 has this bug fixed.
