Job Title: Associate Business Analyst Duration: 6 months Rate:$35/hr C2C This is more of a functional BA requirement than technical and also a junior to mid level level position , experience with SOX and financial industry is a must. Position is responsible for transaction management of all loan and MBS transactions. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Tracking, reporting, and reconciling transactions - Analyze and resolve investor accounting problems of medium - Manage Customer Relationship while addressing data integrity, accounting, and control concerns - Participate in process improvement project teams. - Provide monthly status updates for various reports - Participate in SOX 404 efforts, including documentation of processes and facilitating testing of controls, as necessary. Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field. - 0-2 year work experience in the financial services industry. - Working knowledge of mortgage finance or investor reporting highly desirable. - Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint). . Knowledge of general accounting principles, Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements, mortgage product attributes investor and custodial accounting procedures/processes. . Ability to review data, identify trends and draw relevant business conclusions. . Strong business acumen reflected in sound judgment and ability to effectively prioritize workload. .
