*Application Developer Advanced* * * *Responsibilities: * · Implement data quality control and data validation routines to increase data usability, functionality and ensure reconciliation. · Participate in the conversion of Business logic into functional and technical specifications including data mapping of source data elements and ETL transformation rules to the data warehouse physical structures. · Work directly with key business stakeholders to perform requirements gathering, address issues, and provide information and analysis critical to their decision making process. · Participate in the development of internal standards and best practices for ETL and database design. *REQUIRED Skills: * · *Minimum* of 8 years experience in database design and development, preferably with DB2 and/or SQL Server. · *Minimum* of 8 years experience designing and developing ETL processes with Informatica · Detailed knowledge of Dimensional Modeling, Denormalized Data Structures, OLAP, and Data Warehousing concept. · Hands on experience performing; Logical and Physical data modeling. · Strong data cleansing and standardization skills to ensure consistent consolidated reporting. · Experience in database optimization techniques. · Ability to independently manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively. Good business acumen with understanding of IT enablement benefits and strong written and verbal communication skills. · Experience with transact SQL, SQL DTS, and Stored Procedures. Database and ETL administration, Unix and Linux experience. · Database design and development to support business intelligence applications. · Design and development of Informatica mappings and workflows to address data integration and consolidation from many source systems into the data marts. · Metadata design and development · Data profiling, analysis, and development utilizing Informatica Data Explorer · Data quality process design and development to perform data cleansing and standardization.
