6 Months *Experience* Extensive experience in leading the development of multi-tiered web applications on open source platforms utilizing Java/J2EE, XML, SQL, AJAX, REST, SOAP, SOA, JavaScript, HTML. GRAILS, GROOVY and other related technologies and concepts Extensive experience working with open source frameworks and technologies such as JBOSS, MySQL, Struts 2.0, Spring, Hibernate, Selenium, etc. Experience with Agile Development (SCRUM / Extreme Programming) practices, such as Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Iterative Development, and Pair Programming Rules / Recommendation / Personalization engine experience is a plus Groovy/Grails experience mandatory Leader in open-source Java software environment *Role specific abilities/skills* 4-5 years experience in developing web applications Three years industry experience with demonstrated leadership results Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven results oriented person with a delivery focus – especially in the areas of writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code.
