Job Title: Sr. SharePoint Developer Location: Princeton, NJ Duration: 1- 2 Year Contract Position is for a SharePoint 2007 senior developer/architect: Expert in the design and architecture of custom SharePoint 2007 applications and web parts using .NET C#. Good understanding of SharePoint 2010 - which will be implemented in production in 2011, with development efforts beginning in 2010. Ability to interact with clients and define system requirements from user needs. Code, test, debug, document, and maintain applications. Good understanding of DB and interactions with web tools (SQL Server, Oracle). Good understanding of SQL Server Reporting Services is a plus but not required. Good understanding of http request life cycle. Proficient in HTML, JAVA Script, CSS, AJAX. Proficient in SilverLight is a significant plus but not required. Good understanding of Object Oriented design and programming methodologies. Experience with version control applications and build process (Visual Source Safe/Clear Case, nant, Cruise Control, WatiN). Experience with Web Services. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with multi-tiered architectures. Experience with latest versions of .NET. Active Directory experience. Siteminder / LDAP integration experience a plus but not required. Analyze application requirements & recommend design/architecture. Create detailed project outlines and application design specifications. Quality reviews of code developed by other staff. An understanding of and experience with full software development lifecycle including functional & technical specification, development on object oriented design, documentation, QA processes, source control, maint & deployment. Designs for more complex integration with other applications/technologies. Responsible for leading a team of developers and managing to project timelines/deliverables. Understanding of application architecture. Assist senior developers with proj outlines & specs. Expertise involving increasingly complex Web-based appl solutions in an n-tier environment. Primarily analyzes, designs, develops & supports major Web information systems designs from an enterprise perspective. Can be expected to help in determining the long-range strategic direction of systems.
