Education and Experience Requirements
3-7 years SAP, Finance configuration experience, specifically relating to
the Accounts Payable, some General Ledger
Experience in Accounts Payable and General Ledger configuration is needed
Bachelors degree preferred
*Critical Skills:*
Understanding of fundamental and advanced concepts of SAP systems
development including core R/3 (ERP) with a primary focus on Accounts
Receivable and Credit and Collections.
Understanding of fundamental principles of Finance including Accounts
Payable and General Ledger.
Ability to develop and evaluate alternative technical solutions to best meet
the needs of the business
Ability to develop and execute task specific project plans with minimal
supervision
*Description: *
*Function/Purpose:*
A Business Analyst is primarily responsible for the analysis and design
aspects of the system development process. A Business Analyst will be
expected to lead small to midsize projects, coordinating the efforts of a
project team. A Business Analyst will also be expected to participate in
configuration and testing efforts when necessary. A Business Analyst should
have strong knowledge of departmental procedures and standards, as well as
various technologies utilized by the department. Departmental procedures and
standards should be adhered to when performing assigned tasks. A Business
Analyst should also be knowledgeable of several application modules within
the organization. A Business Analyst should also participate in product
evaluations. A Business Analyst will interact with the client community and
therefore should possess good oral and written communication skills.
*Primary Duties and Responsibilities *
Under the general direction of a Director in the Information Technology
Department you will focus on the following areas:
Analyze client requests and design solutions based on stated
requirements.
· Facilitate design sessions and lead Business Modeling efforts.
· Act as project leader on small to mid-size projects as assigned.
· Write programming specifications, in accordance with departmental
standards, as assigned by a project leader or manager.
· Lead configuration and testing efforts.
· Update procedures, operation instructions, and any other
documentation impacted by programming changes.
· Assist other staff members when appropriate.
· Participate in product evaluations.
· Participate in off-shift system support as assigned.
· Participate on department committees/teams within the IT
department to develop various procedures/policies.
· Some travel may be required (10-%-15%).
