Skill set: Some programming background and understanding would be helpful. 2 years of experience working as a SAN and/or storage system administrator or four years of experience administering SAN attached servers. Knowledge of performance and monitoring tooling for SAN and storage as well as an understanding of the underlying data is a plus. Experience with IBM SVC is highly desired. Experience with UNIX, Windows, VMWARE , Veritas, is a plus. Must have excellent planning/organizational, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, as well as basic presentation, and decision-making skills. Basic leadership skills are required; excellent time management skills are preferred. Must be able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
